These terms cover how you may use the articles, demos, and files that godrichstory.com ("GODRICH", "the site") publishes. By opening the site you accept them.

What the site provides

The site publishes articles on CSS/SCSS animation and prompt writing, live demos you can try inside each article, and the complete source of every demo (HTML, CSS/SCSS, JS, plus a React version) as a password-protected zip. The password for each zip sits inside its own article.

What you may do with the code

The code in the zip ships under the MIT License. Use it in personal or commercial projects, modify it, merge it into your own work — all fine. Keep the copyright notice and permission text from the zip's LICENSE file in whatever you copy from it.

What you may not redistribute

The article text, the demo preview artwork (posters and animated images), and the site's own wording belong to the site. Reposting them on another website, blog network, or social account is not allowed. When you quote code, link back to the article it came from. Uploading the whole zip somewhere else as a mirror is also off the table — send people here to download it.

The site name and logo

The name "GODRICH" and the site logo identify this site. Do not use them as the name of your service, shop, or channel, and do not present your work as connected to this site. Leave the copyright lines inside the code alone.

No warranty

Every demo is opened and checked in real browsers before it goes up, but everything is provided "as is". The site does not promise it will behave the same way in every browser version, operating system, or project setup. Test in your own environment before relying on it.

Limitation of liability

The site is not liable for any damage — lost data, downtime, lost revenue, or anything else — that follows from using its articles, demos, or files.

About the ads

The site runs Google AdSense automatic ads. Google picks what appears; how cookies and personalized ads are handled is described in the privacy policy.

Changes to these terms

These terms can change without notice, and the current version always lives on this page. Check back when it matters to you.
