05Fading Through a Few Brightness Levels
The brightness of a dot is cut into a few levels instead of staying continuous. The same smeared fade is drawn side by side in 2 levels (on and off only) on the top board, LEVELS (4) on the middle board and 16 levels on the bottom board, so fewer levels show stair-step stripes and more levels look smooth.
Best forA way to choose between coarse and smooth brightness like cheap hardware
