01A Dial With a Continuously Sweeping Second Hand

Elapsed time is counted as one integer of centiseconds and turned into an angle that completes one turn per 60 seconds to draw the second hand. Ticks differ in weight at 1 and 5 second marks, and the board on the right updates once per second so the hand jerks as the contrast. A ripple spreads from the hub to the rim at every new second, and the strip below draws the last 4 seconds of angle as a smooth line and as a staircase.
