03A Parabolic Toss That Reads the Face From Airtime Times Spin Rate

The coin leaves the hand on a parabola ruled only by gravity, and airtime times turns per second is the number of rotations. At touchdown the half turn count is rounded, and an even count leaves the starting face up and an odd count shows the other, so a small change in spin rate flips the result even at the same throw strength.
